Braemore Estate
Wester Ross Scotland

Welcome to Braemore

The area is very close to our hearts and we are grateful to share a part of the responsibility for its wellbeing, a responsibility we are hoping that anyone who visit will contribute positively to.

It is our vision to improve and deliver something richer in native nature than what we have received. We constantly try to be respectful in our presence and understand that human impact can have enormous effect on the surrounding wildlife.

Braemore has back in time, as many of Scotlands other larger privately owned areas, been managed with inspiration from the Victorian era. Times when value was measured by recreational values and the country sports it allowed such as fishing, shooting and stalking.

We also allow a fraction of this to happen today combined with the task of managing the red deer heard. We understand that land management and the care for nature has to go hand in hand. We aim to provide the ground the similar amount of nutrition as we take away. We do on occasion leave carcasses on the hill for eagles, ravens, foxes, beetles to feast on, but we also embrace that there are strong cultural ties  attached to owning and managing what was once called a highland Estate.
